Select items from Selberg's early life as well as honors, awards, and remembrances following his passing in 2007 are also included in the collection.

The Dorothy Morgenstern Thomas collection consists of three items documenting the life of Institute for Advanced Study Faculty Kurt Gödel. The materials include a letter composed by Oksar Morgenstern in 1971 which recalls highlights of Kurt Gödel's preparation for his naturalization interview and the interview itself in Trenton, New Jersey as well as two photographic slides that depict Gödel with his wife and Gödel with The Reverend E.A. Conway, S.J., of Creighton University.
