Scope and Contents
The Institute for Advanced Study (Princeton, N.J.). Director's Office. Faculty records contain files created and accumulated by the Institute for Advanced Study Director's Office and other administrative units relating to the Faculty and Emeriti of the Institute. Files relate both to individuals that accepted and that were offered (and subsequently declined) Faculty positions.
The files include administrative materials related to appointments as well as correspondence, and additional biographical information. Materials date from 1923 to 2005.
